فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبُوْهُ بِبَعْضِهَا ۭ كَذٰلِكَ يُـحْىِ اللّٰهُ الْمَوْتٰى ۙ وَيُرِيْكُمْ اٰيٰتِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ
فَقُلْنَا : So We said,
ٱضْرِبُوهُ : "Strike him
بِبَعْضِهَاۚ : with a part of it."
كَذَٰلِكَ : Like this
يُحْىِ : revives
ٱللَّهُ : Allah
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ : the dead,
وَيُرِيكُمْ : and shows you
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ : His Signs,
لَعَلَّكُمْ : perhaps you may
تَعْقِلُونَ : use your intellect.
ٱضْرِبُوهُ : "Strike him
بِبَعْضِهَاۚ : with a part of it."
كَذَٰلِكَ : Like this
يُحْىِ : revives
ٱللَّهُ : Allah
ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ : the dead,
وَيُرِيكُمْ : and shows you
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ : His Signs,
لَعَلَّكُمْ : perhaps you may
تَعْقِلُونَ : use your intellect.
Faqulnad riboohu biba'dihaa; kazaalika yuhyil laa hul mawtaa wa yureekum aayaatihee la'allakum ta'qiloon
So, We said, "Strike the slain man with part of it." Thus does Allah bring the dead to life, and He shows you His signs that you might reason.
