خَتَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰي قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَعَلٰي سَمْعِهِمْ ۭ وَعَلٰٓي اَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَّلَھُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ
خَتَمَ : Has set a seal
ٱللَّهُ : Allah
عَلَىٰ : on
قُلُوبِهِمْ : their hearts
وَعَلَىٰ : and on
سَمْعِهِمْۖ : their hearing,
وَعَلَىٰٓ : and on
أَبْصَٰرِهِمْ : their vision
غِشَٰوَةٌۖ : (is) a veil.
وَلَهُمْ : And for them
عَذَابٌ : (is) a punishment
عَظِيمٌ : great.
ٱللَّهُ : Allah
عَلَىٰ : on

وَعَلَىٰ : and on
سَمْعِهِمْۖ : their hearing,
وَعَلَىٰٓ : and on
أَبْصَٰرِهِمْ : their vision
غِشَٰوَةٌۖ : (is) a veil.
وَلَهُمْ : And for them
عَذَابٌ : (is) a punishment
عَظِيمٌ : great.
Khatamal laahu 'alaa quloobihim wa 'alaa sam'i-him wa 'alaaa absaarihim ghishaa watunw wa lahum 'azaabun 'azeem (section 1)
Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment.
