105 Maa yawaddul lazeena

مَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَھْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَلَا الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ اَنْ يُّنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ خَيْرٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ ۭ وَاللّٰهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهٖ مَنْ يَّشَاۗءُ ۭوَاللّٰهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيْمِ
مَّا : (Do) not  
  يَوَدُّ : like  
  ٱلَّذِينَ : those who  
  كَفَرُوا۟ : disbelieve  
  مِنْ : from  
  أَهْلِ : (the) People  
  ٱلْكِتَٰبِ : (of) the Book  
  وَلَا : and not  
  ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ : those who associate partners (with Allah),  
  أَن : that  
  يُنَزَّلَ : (there should) be sent down  
  عَلَيْكُم : to you  
  مِّنْ : from  
  خَيْرٍ : good  
  مِّن : from  
  رَّبِّكُمْۗ : your Lord.  
  وَٱللَّهُ : And Allah  
  يَخْتَصُّ : chooses  
  بِرَحْمَتِهِۦ : for His Mercy  
  مَن : whom  
  يَشَآءُۚ : He wills.  
  وَٱللَّهُ : And Allah  
  ذُو : (is the) Possessor  
  ٱلْفَضْلِ : (of) the Bounty  
  ٱلْعَظِيمِ : the Great.
Maa yawaddul lazeena kafaroo min ahlil kitaabi wa lal mushrikeena ai-yunazzala 'alaikum min khairim mir Rabbikum; wallaahu yakhtassu birahmatihee mai-yashaaa; wallaahu zul fadlil'azeem
Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
