وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ لَوْلَا يُكَلِّمُنَا اللّٰهُ اَوْ تَاْتِيْنَآ اٰيَةٌ ۭ كَذٰلِكَ قَالَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِّثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۭ تَشَابَهَتْ قُلُوْبُھُمْ ۭ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا الْاٰيٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يُّوْقِنُوْنَ
وَقَالَ : And said
ٱلَّذِينَ : those who
لَا : (do) not
يَعْلَمُونَ : know,
لَوْلَا : "Why not
يُكَلِّمُنَا : speaks to us
ٱللَّهُ : Allah
أَوْ : or
تَأْتِينَآ : comes to us
ءَايَةٌۗ : a sign?"
كَذَٰلِكَ : Like that
قَالَ : said
ٱلَّذِينَ : those who
مِن : from
قَبْلِهِم : before them
مِّثْلَ : similar
قَوْلِهِمْۘ : their saying.
تَشَٰبَهَتْ : Became alike
قُلُوبُهُمْۗ : their hearts.
قَدْ : Indeed,
بَيَّنَّا : We have made clear
ٱلْءَايَٰتِ : the signs
لِقَوْمٍ : for people
يُوقِنُونَ : (who) firmly believe.
ٱلَّذِينَ : those who
لَا : (do) not
يَعْلَمُونَ : know,
لَوْلَا : "Why not
يُكَلِّمُنَا : speaks to us
ٱللَّهُ : Allah
أَوْ : or
تَأْتِينَآ : comes to us
ءَايَةٌۗ : a sign?"
كَذَٰلِكَ : Like that
قَالَ : said
ٱلَّذِينَ : those who
مِن : from
قَبْلِهِم : before them
مِّثْلَ : similar
قَوْلِهِمْۘ : their saying.
تَشَٰبَهَتْ : Became alike
قُلُوبُهُمْۗ : their hearts.
قَدْ : Indeed,
بَيَّنَّا : We have made clear
ٱلْءَايَٰتِ : the signs
لِقَوْمٍ : for people
يُوقِنُونَ : (who) firmly believe.
Wa qaalal lazeena laa ya'lamoona law laa yukallimunal laahu aw taateenaaa aayah; kazaalika qaalal lazeena min qablihim misla qawlihim; tashaabahat quloobuhum; qad baiyannal aayaati liqawminy yooqinoon
Those who do not know say, "Why does Allah not speak to us or there come to us a sign?" Thus spoke those before them like their words. Their hearts resemble each other. We have shown clearly the signs to a people who are certain [in faith].
