124 Wa izib talaaa

وَاِذِ ابْتَلٰٓى اِبْرٰهٖمَ رَبُّهٗ بِكَلِمٰتٍ فَاَتَـمَّهُنَّ ۭ قَالَ اِنِّىْ جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ اِمَامًا ۭ قَالَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِىْ ۭ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهْدِي الظّٰلِمِيْنَ
وَإِذِ : And when  
  ٱبْتَلَىٰٓ : tried  
  إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ : Ibrahim  
  رَبُّهُۥ : his Lord  
  بِكَلِمَٰتٍ : with words  
  فَأَتَمَّهُنَّۖ : and he fulfilled them,  
  قَالَ : He said,  
  إِنِّى : "Indeed I  
  جَاعِلُكَ : (am) the One to make you  
  لِلنَّاسِ : for the mankind  
  إِمَامًاۖ : a leader."  
  قَالَ : He said,  
  وَمِن : "And from  
  ذُرِّيَّتِىۖ : my offspring?"  
  قَالَ : He said,  
  لَا : "(Does) not  
  يَنَالُ : reach  
  عَهْدِى : My Covenant  
  ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ : (to) the wrongdoers."
Wa izib talaaa Ibraaheema Rabbuho bi Kalimaatin fa atammahunna qaala Innee jaa'iluka linnaasi Imaaman qaala wa min zurriyyatee qaala laa yanaalu 'ahdiz zaalimeen
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [Allah] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [Allah] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers."
