وَلَقَدْ جَاۗءَكُمْ مُّوْسٰى بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ وَاَنْتُمْ ظٰلِمُوْنَ
وَلَقَدْ : And indeed
جَآءَكُم : came to you
مُّوسَىٰ : Musa
بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ : with the clear signs,
ثُمَّ : then
ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ : you took
ٱلْعِجْلَ : the calf
مِنۢ : from
بَعْدِهِۦ : after him
وَأَنتُمْ : and you
ظَٰلِمُونَ : (were) wrongdoers.
جَآءَكُم : came to you
مُّوسَىٰ : Musa
بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ : with the clear signs,
ثُمَّ : then
ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ : you took
ٱلْعِجْلَ : the calf
مِنۢ : from
بَعْدِهِۦ : after him
وَأَنتُمْ : and you
ظَٰلِمُونَ : (were) wrongdoers.
Wa laqad jaaa'akum Moosa bilbaiyinaati summat takhaztumul 'ijla mim ba'dihee wa antum zaalimoon
And Moses had certainly brought you clear proofs. Then you took the calf [in worship] after that, while you were wrongdoers.
