وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْا لَوْ اَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّاَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّءُوْا مِنَّا ۭ كَذٰلِكَ يُرِيْهِمُ اللّٰهُ اَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرٰتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۭ وَمَا ھُمْ بِخٰرِجِيْنَ مِنَ النَّارِ
وَقَالَ : And said
ٱلَّذِينَ : those who
ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ : followed,
لَوْ : "(Only) if
أَنَّ : that
لَنَا : for us
كَرَّةً : a return,
فَنَتَبَرَّأَ : then we will disown
مِنْهُمْ : from them
كَمَا : as
تَبَرَّءُوا۟ : they disown
مِنَّاۗ : from us."
كَذَٰلِكَ : Thus
يُرِيهِمُ : will show them
ٱللَّهُ : Allah
أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ : their deeds
حَسَرَٰتٍ : (as) regrets
عَلَيْهِمْۖ : for them.
وَمَا : And not
هُم : they
بِخَٰرِجِينَ : will come out
مِنَ : from
ٱلنَّارِ : the Fire.
ٱلَّذِينَ : those who
ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ : followed,
لَوْ : "(Only) if
أَنَّ : that
لَنَا : for us
كَرَّةً : a return,
فَنَتَبَرَّأَ : then we will disown
مِنْهُمْ : from them
كَمَا : as
تَبَرَّءُوا۟ : they disown
مِنَّاۗ : from us."
كَذَٰلِكَ : Thus
يُرِيهِمُ : will show them
ٱللَّهُ : Allah
أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ : their deeds
حَسَرَٰتٍ : (as) regrets
عَلَيْهِمْۖ : for them.
وَمَا : And not
هُم : they
بِخَٰرِجِينَ : will come out
مِنَ : from
ٱلنَّارِ : the Fire.
Wa qaalal lazeenat taba'oo law anna lanaa karratan fanatabarra a minhum kamaa tabarra'oo minnaa; kazaalika yureehimullaahu a'maalahum hasaraatin 'alaihim wa maa hum bikhaarijeena minan Naar (section 20)
Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.
