سَلْ بَنِىْٓ اِسْرَاۗءِ يْلَ كَمْ اٰتَيْنٰھُمْ مِّنْ اٰيَةٍۢ بَيِّنَةٍ ۭ وَمَنْ يُّبَدِّلْ نِعْمَةَ اللّٰهِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَاۗءَتْهُ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِيْدُ الْعِقَابِ
سَلْ : Ask
بَنِىٓ : (the) Children
إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ : (of) Israel,
كَمْ : how many
ءَاتَيْنَٰهُم : We gave them
مِّنْ : of
ءَايَةٍۭ : (the) Sign(s)
بَيِّنَةٍۗ : clear.
وَمَن : And whoever
يُبَدِّلْ : changes
نِعْمَةَ : Favor
ٱللَّهِ : (of) Allah
مِنۢ : of
بَعْدِ : after
مَا : what
جَآءَتْهُ : it (has) come to him -
فَإِنَّ : then indeed,
ٱللَّهَ : Allah
شَدِيدُ : (is) severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ : in the chastising.
بَنِىٓ : (the) Children
إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ : (of) Israel,
كَمْ : how many
ءَاتَيْنَٰهُم : We gave them
مِّنْ : of
ءَايَةٍۭ : (the) Sign(s)
بَيِّنَةٍۗ : clear.
وَمَن : And whoever

نِعْمَةَ : Favor
ٱللَّهِ : (of) Allah
مِنۢ : of
بَعْدِ : after
مَا : what
جَآءَتْهُ : it (has) come to him -
فَإِنَّ : then indeed,
ٱللَّهَ : Allah
شَدِيدُ : (is) severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ : in the chastising.
Sal Banee Israaa'eela kam aatainaahum min aayatim baiyinah; wa mai yubaddil ni'matal laahi mim ba'di maa jaaa'athu fa innallaaha shadeedul'iqaab
Ask the Children of Israel how many a sign of evidence We have given them. And whoever exchanges the favor of Allah [for disbelief] after it has come to him - then indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
